Waited my Whole Life
By dianes
I waited my whole life, For someone just like you, Who could share their emotions, Someone who could be true. Tired of all the emotionally unavailable, With their signs held out, Will feel or tell when I'm able, Guess what I'm feeling for now. When I wasn't looking, You slipped into my life, Astounded me with your sincerity, Scared me so outright. I almost bolted shut the door, Trying to force you out, Here was someone who could relate, To emotions and feelings I was talking about. Scared and nervous, Not knowing what to do, I started to feel the onslaught, Of my feelings about you. Day by day we grew closer, Learned more about each other, Friendship turned to more, Never like any other. Where will this take us, Only the future knows, I only know in my heart, That my feelings grow..."sigh, u weren't suppose to happen, but I'm glad u did" Written March 10th, 2002 © on Mar 10 2002 03:22 AM PST 18 • 8 • 12
