Why Fairies Sing
By dianes
A fairy sits by the falls tears falling once again Knowing she has lost a love and heartbroken she sings her song It is a sad melody one that touches you to the core Soft and sweet the melody you stay for the oncore The song does put you in a trance eyes fixed upon her in your stance Listen to her little tune Sung from her broken heart to the moon It's so sad but beautiful the lilt of her voice makes your heart full Her wings encase her body so still Then as her song is about to end She stands and stretches wings and arms outspend Her song spews forth Notes so glorious without end Her lungs filled with mournful breaths Tears stream down Fall unto her tiny breasts Now the crescendo is about to end You can feel her heart as it tries to mend Her fairy song has touched your soul Reminding you of loves of old So hold those memories in your heart deep Remember how the fairies weep for each love lost is their pain to keep So when you hear that melody it's a fairy crying for lost love Her song sings out to the moon above The way she heals the heart is to sing that melody to make you feel so that once again you will heal"been awhile since I did a fairy write" Written April 7th, 2002 © on Apr 07 2002 12:32 AM PST 0 • 8
