Woman in a Coffee Shop
By dianes
The coffee shop is filled each day and each day she sits by the same window at the same time sipping caufe'ole you wonder is she longing for her yesterdays the ones filled with her laughter and loving ways... From looking at this woman you would never guess all of her feelings and how life put her to the test She's not as old as she appears but trials and tribulations have left scars and tears... No one seems to notice her People pass by and do not acknowledge her It seems she is a ghost An apparition of someone who sat and waited for maybe someone who never kept their date... So did her spirit never leave and did her heart stay and when he didn't arrive did her heart get so heavily laden that she just decided to leave it here with her memories Remembering her last words to him... I have waited forever for you and will wait for you forever... Written April 14th, 2002 © on Apr 14 2002 03:18 AM PST 0 • 8
