A Voice from Within

Since I was a child, you’ve watched. I grew up as any but was inspired with a message.     As I looked out over the everything,   you could sense essence.   When I prayed to my inner light,   it was loud and clear to all.   I spoke no words aloud   yet all could hear the message. When I talked of peace, you went to the mountains. In hearing me discuss flow, you sought the river. You heard the words but only the words.   There is essence,   a truth missed, When you surrender yourself, you will be victorious. In giving up the urge to control, you can receive the essence of all in the ALL. Do not look with your eyes alone. It is better to close them and see with your heart.   There you will sense love   and good feeling will be abundant.   An inner light glowing like a beacon   will create a beam of wonderfulness. As I looked out over the Everything, I sensed the essence of me within. I no longer cared for was or to be as I let go and gained.   My inner light grew strong   it became my life compass.   My inner light grew strong   and answered my every need.   My inner light grew strong   fulfilling me completely.     I gave up myself         trusted the light           and now I am whole.
