Impermanent

Incapable of love How unchanging it seems Sweet as the bitterness Of unspoken dreams I feel you gaze You're eyes a river that endlessly flows And I find myself drowning In the streams of your soul Have I lost the wind beneath my feet Only for daring to fly so high Have I yet to feel the impact Where the earth kisses the sky Suffering is bliss When it ends with satisfaction Desire is only pleased By a spark of passionate interaction Can't stop comparing This life to the one in my head Can't stop re-living All the emotions we fed The eternity of each instant Every moment spent together Brings me inner peace A peace I won't feel again ever The feast of love Leave's you only the more hungry Craving for that sweet taste Sweet tasting misery Now this stillness Between the time of our meeting Begging silently Quietly pleading One by one they seem to fall Like a tree's fallen leaves How foolish I was to follow While my idols blindly did lead I knew better to follow such desires Struggling in vain still against them You always seemed to shape my heart I can't touch that joy again So now a stale existence From the life that you left Learning how closely related Love's pleasure's are to death The Lonely PoetI'm worried you guys won't get a chance to read some of my work.
