Auld Lang Syne
By Drew5571
My heart breaks as we speak, you seem so out of reach. The hands of fate have cast their judgment, time keeps slipping away.We can live in conceived heavens or make private hells, this is called destiny. The blood is still on our hands, what we said today and yesterday remains forever within us.I know someday we will meet again, somewhere in the course of an endless lifetime.Bridges of trust shall stand tests of time, memories once shared stay inside me.written summer/19891989, The poem is written about a friend who committed suicide and to friends in my past.
