How Could Anyone Love That Boy
By Eagle
A girl with her blonde hair tied back In her cheerleading uniform and her spirit makeup Walked past us in the hall and gave me a stare She asked with her eyes why I had just kissed you And later she stopped me after science class And she said "How could anyone love that boy Is there something he does good I should know about Can he give my boyfriends lessons maybe You must be good at acting to make out with him" I walked away but didn't answer her It hurt to much because in her eyes she was serious But she's never even heard you speak a word I'm not really sure how she got my number But that night she called me And she said "I just found out you were serious I laughed a little while until I thought about it You poor girl we can out on Friday I'll find you a guy that you really deserve" I hung up on her - Not sure if she got the point Maybe it'd be fine if she was the only one But Mr. Bruton asked me to stay after class Just a week or so later Apparently I had overdue work And he said "Sorry Amber but we need to talk I know I'm your teacher and I'm conserned I'm worried about you as I well should be That boy of yours in just bad news" Too bad you're not even in Mr. B's classes I didn't even know he knew your name Certianly you can't be bad news When you brighten my day like a flower in the rain And if that wasn't enouph - Mom and Dad joined the club They said "How could anyone love that boy Baby we're just worried you're our little girl This boy spikes his hair and has a tatoo He keeps you out long past curfew" I thought at first that they were joking Since they've always understood when I'm confused I ran into that cheerleader again soon after She was working her job up at HMV And she said "How could anyone love that boy" She scanned the CD I bought for you And I said "How can anyone love you?"This based partically on stuff that really happened, but not all of it. It's really free style and may not fllow well... but I wanted to say what I had to say without limiting myself. Written December 11th, 2001 © on Dec 11 2001 02:28 PM PST 18 • 0 • 8
