[I had a dream the other night,]

By EmpathyBlue

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I had a dream the other night, A dream of you and me; I was in a gilded boat, Across a silver sea, I came up to a castle, Made up of frozen halls, I put my hands up as i walked, And touched the icy walls. It was so very dark, And as cold as night could be, And we felt an icy wind From across the silver sea. You were standing at the end Of the very longest hall, And as I walked toward you The ice began to fall And we were in a garden, And you reached for my hand And we began to walk, And the sea took over land But I wasn’t afraid Of the shining, silvery sea, I felt forever safe, Because you were there with me.hehe, iknow this poem is so dorky, but i have a new boyfriend.....let me be a little giddy.
