to walk with you again my eyelids slowly close as i lie down to rest my mind, so full my heart so heavy but all of it fades away i open my eyes again and i see you we're in the clouds a beautiful paradise all i see is you turned around and offering for me to take your hand there is no hesitation as i follow you deeper into this eden land but below me the cloud gives way and i am falling down rushing up so swiftly i almost hit the ground and i wake up staring at the ceiling i remember you fondly, the look in your eyes and i long for it again i long for a place like that a dream that never dies my eyelids grow heavy once more and my heart burns with desire to walk the clouds again a flickering fire to walk with you again then my eyes are opened and everything's the same your innocent gaze entreats me to willingly follow everything is perfect i'm so happy here surpassing other men but i feel a fear deeply rooted in my mind when i'll wake up again Written November 23rd, 2001 © on Nov 22 2001 06:02 PM PST 18 • 0 • 8
