Translating the Man 2000 Misogynist. The fat corpulent man sneers his forehead Beading. Sweat like blood pouring his scorn away. “WOMEN should know their place” Kitchen, Nursery Bed. Places to express love controlled Bigot. Rapist. Murderer. Tyrant. ‘Not I’! The fat indolent man jacks his concern off. His wife submits to his lewd advances; cowed Spirit broken, love dead, heartsore. ‘Not I’? Chauvinist. The fat sweaty man shouts the stripper on. Men’s club. Place to scratch the arse, sweat the bollocks Off. Lewd smoke red pallid face panting. Gaiety Abbreviated. Until the next stupid woman story, that is. Sexist. Newspapers proclaim a female revolution The fat ignorant man laughs at their pretension. Their can be no change in order,; no equality, no parity ‘Tis a man’s world, owned by, controlled by ruled by. Abusers. Vile torrents of evil filth, the fat attentive man Smirks. Television the educator of a generation; female liberation? Tits and bum sell soft drinks And everything else. That’s all what they’re good for. Luvvie Immoral. The array & parade of naked flesh dances Across the computer screen. The fat eager man jerks As his credit card chortles. The stains accumulate on the floor tomorrow His wife sponges them away, wondering. Uncaring. Unloved. Liability. Deceased. The fat dead man is burnt away. Charcoal On the barbeque of life.
