watch the dance

By evangelina

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Whisper the words with me;   Come join the dance of pain and joy with the beating drums of the distant night   til the morning dew reflects the light   from the glorious sun. Dance in the moments of forgetting   or watch to release the pain     of deadly poisons that reach your soul   as you escape from the reign   of a kingdom you can't control   If you should dance, keep in mind     the laughter that fills your heart   can kill or heal your mind...       so let's just forget in just a moment     of time and let me hear the words       as I tell you mine; clean your darkness as you expel the light     in the monotonous days of flight   through the crystal sparkle in our eyes   and hear the whispers     feel the dance         enjoy to forget Written March 11th, 2002 © on Mar 10 2002 05:17 PM PST   18 • 0 • 13
