Immigrant

By evergreens

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

To the fence-hopper, Old adage says curtly, "Grow where you were planted; You'll feel secure and wanted!" Under the new sky, Alein place and unknown society- Immigrant finds himself trapped: Alone, friendless and stumped. Slog on and on,work harder; Enrich the country of your shelter. Always bear in mind, Your roots lay in homeland. Time and tide wait for none- Now homeland beckons; Come back here, where you belong Bring the earned wealth, along! Now a days, because of the changing and complex world order, immigrants face a void in the country where they go into, seeking better pastures. These talented people must return to homeland,to live among brethren and to cherish their roots! Written March 29th, 2002 © on Mar 29 2002 01:56 AM PST, Vivekanandam K.M.G.   10 • 0 • 9
