If the Dream Never Ends
It's a glass bead chain of words, don't shatter the moment, please, I may want to remember this someday. The trees, too young for a fairy tale, their spirits are adolescent as I. Burning moon,no borrowed light tonight, stars I can't quite see, except in your eyes; where in the world is our sunset? I know your story and come back for more, serve me your heart on a crystal platter. Where have you been all my life, this soap bubble moment is ours alone. Diamonds in the wasteland have found us tonight. Without a white horse, my prince has come. I'm begging for a happy end, on my knees in the silver garden of love, I'll sleep forever if the dream never ends. Where will I be when Eden falls, and your arms no longer hold me close? Counting glass beads and tears...impulse poem, no editing. what do you think? Written February 13th, 2002 © on Feb 13 2002 12:12 PM PST 18 • 0 • 8
