Light-Blindness

By expressodreams

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Something’s been lost... the stars have been lost. The stars from my eyes, from you eyes- lost in the oceans of dissension. In those clouded seas the stars shine, without hope, without purpose, without names. Number the stars and name the numbers but names are only words, and words are only names. We sink into those oceans after our stars, our eyes are closed, their light robbed away. Grasping blindly for that which we cannot touch, we open shrouded eyes to darkness.for some reason i really like this poem...just thought i'd mention it.
