Can you hear it?

Do you hear it He said lowering his head to her That sound It’s coming from somewhere Under us i think She cocked her head to the side Listening As waves beat up against a distant shore And snow fell down a mountainside Rain swept across a desert plain And wind flew it's forever path Yes I can feel it More than hear it She said looking at him Her eyes brightened Understanding Intuitively What’s it mean do you think At a loss he turned to her for direction Trusting her and her woman's wisdom A soul cry Keening the loss of a million years Tormented by the ill use of it's hearth Vibrated alarming Heard by all Understood by few It’s the death of the world She said, deep sorrow in her words There’s nothing we can do It has started at last Tears well up in her eyes as she crouches down Unable to bear the weight of the world And it's demise There must be something we can do Aren’t we an advanced race of people? Conscious in our choices Able to give back what we have taken He saids shaking with realization and determination The cry has reached a peak To loud in every sense not to be heard From all around people are seen to collapse Unable to understand There is She saids tears streaming Voice taking on a newer deeper purpose We must work together To heal this planet And what we have taken from her She Gia Is asking us to..
