Queen of the forest I call to you Dance now for the world to see? You are a sight enchanting to behold But only those bravest will receive thy soul Woman both wild and soothing I ask for this night?s audience To sing with thee amongst old friends Laugh and sing away your time till dawn's end Flash of light amongst the trees Floating about merrily it seems Golden glow such a sweet nimbus Giving light and love to ancient timbers Flickering about here and there Little ones accompany like fireflies All the colors of the rainbow it seems Come from the hearts of children's dreams Before I knew it she is here Divinely awaiting my earnest plea Goddess of this forested sight Will you dance with me to night? Eyes the color of golden hue Skin so pale it reflects the moon She smiles mischievously Beckoning that she would join this dance with me Wild the whirlwind that followed anon In her arms we did fly so free Like love I did all but swoon Under the light of the fairies moon All manners of creatures came out to play To dance and sing and frolic about Pixies, gnomes and wood folk nymphs Ogres, trolls and willow the wisps Pixies glowed with warm little lights Unicorns amazed all with their shinny coats A dragon or two was seen in the air Elves provided the wonderful fare Before we knew it dawn had come It was time for the queen to depart To take her entourage home for the day To wait until another time to play Sadly I bid my heartfelt goodbye The queen smiled and whispered to I Next time the moon shines with that certain glow Forget get us not to us you may go With a merry heart I set on my way Tired and lightheaded to home I did sway Next time the moon shone that glorious light I would not fail to be at the fairy queen's sideOkies...i know it's not that good but it's late and i wanted to get this done....Happy birthday Jenneddin!!love ya hawk:)) I'll do a better pic next time...:) Written February 22nd, 2002 © on Feb 21 2002 11:54 PM PST   18 • 0 • 8
