Here comes the Poet.
By FaeSinner
Out of swirling mists of time Comes he whom has lived magic wonders And returned to our sleepy village To tell tales of dreams and enchantments Of billowing cloak and bold stride He carries with him a volume Strapped cross ways his back least it encumbers Walking staff that seems to glow It's warm nimbus lights his way Of tome one may see Vellum pages leather bound In ancient bindings of elven song and dwarven metal Feathers of the exotic Adorn hair blown gently By this morn's whispering wind Pendants and crystal links Sway with each and every step He comes from a time Where time weaves a mystic web And dreams are there for the living Fairies dance and frolic and love Dryads bespeak the trees Nymphs inspire and beguile Dragons soar the highest places Knights quest and feast Elves sing nature's songs Dwarves craft earth's blood Wizard's learn of magic's price And the witch heal with nature's blessing He comes this day To regale his travels Of wonders seen and lived The Bard of mystic ways Poet of this modern day I hearald his coming To all who hear And offer with great cheer "The Web Dreamer is in the house"!You forgot to add a verse for yourself in "the fairy poets". so i thought i'd do it for you, i hope i haven't intruded....lol Written January 1st, 2002 © on Jan 01 2002 08:38 AM PST 0 • 10
