I Heard it whispered....(Challenge Poem)

I had heard it wispered on the wind by the Gods and Goddessess of old whom still held court in anicent kingdoms that there was a Lady whom walked the places where dreams play, whom searched with her heart seeking to make it whole and dreamed of a man whom equaled her heart felt passions. I had heard it wispered on the wind by the Good Folk whom flew and flitted, laughed and giggled, dreamt and loved, that she had written a love poem so that her heart could be heard by that one she loved first and foremost and that she penned true love for all to see the devotion of her words. I heard it whispered amongst the stars and the twilight by the Daoin Sidhe, who could ride the old paths that intersected two worlds but once a year, that she that once a night she would look to the moon and wonder if the love of her true heart would one day walk her way. I heard it whispered that the stars did shine back at her during the midnight hour to caress her softly whilst she slept so that her dreams of her true heart would sooth her sweet thoughts of love and desire. I heard it whispered amongst the oaks of old by Dryads whom played when no one else walked those forrested paths that the moon did glow brighter and fuller because of the dreams of love reflected by the love of this Lady. I heard it whispered in magical kingdoms and lost palaces and in enchanted forrests that this Lady was pure of heart and was loved by many and that she loved all equally but her true love, her deep passionate joy, she kept to her self so that one day when the winds whispered to her of the journeys of her soul love had brought him to her she would be able to go to him and dance the steps of the true dance. I heard it whispered by those who walk natures paths that the Lady once debated with Cerunnos,Lord of the Forest and Bright Lord,at the World Tree the true nature of love. That they reflected their souls calling in all matters of love and that it was heard that the lady found true love to mean to her many things of which included ability to be accepting of heart and mind, passion and emotional connection, humour and tenderness towards each other, the ability to communicate freely without judgement, the need and want for growth and support within such love, that the future of togetherness did hold the dream of life purpose, that being interderpendent gave love the true breath of life, that both lovers must want and love the same things... I heard it whispered that Cerunnos whilst old and wise still felt that his journey had yet to stop giving it's yeild of lessons learn't and that the lady agreed whole heartedly that she too had alot to learn of loves ways. I heard it whispered.... Written December 29th, 2001 © on Dec 29 2001 12:55 PM PST   0 • 8
