Prowling Night's Morning Flight

A collaberation based loosely on a film we both like By Jenneddin and myself.... no points if you guess the film...:) In dark twilight before dawns awakening There's told a tale so sad and haunting Of two hearts forever separated By love's lost cruel misgiving Within the moons glow lies half a heart For his lover walks in amber under the sun These two forever lost within a cycle His heart stops for hers to beat again Prowling night's lonely shadow The wolf walks hiding heart's sorrow Vague this longing of true love Seeks the one whom couples his heart This bird in flight sings no songs of morning Her heart she left with the beast in the night The love of her life that walks within the shadows His whispers upon the air is all she may breathe As moons light releases it's domain to sun's cleansing rays Forever the other is doomed to watch the change As one soul to another transforms They mournfully witness each other's haunting gaze The contact ends and in silence they cry Her heart left to wither, until next dawn As with many a legend and lore it was prophesied That the day would come When two hearts of lonely life Would beat as oneThanks jennifer this was fun....:) Written January 9th, 2002 © on Jan 08 2002 03:49 PM PST   0 • 12
