Quiet is this time.
By FaeSinner
As the moon sinks down Starry night's velvet curtain There is a stillness That comes before From waiting expectant For what the light will bing. In this place you'll find This special thing The quiet time of the soul. Where nightmares have no place Love dances slowly Innocence lost needs not be found Passion's fire breathes languid Sleep gives up it's final dream As I sing softly to myself Birds join in their communal greeting Letting go of dreams fingers To play the dawn of forward time The wolf greets the hawk As the owl settles for snowy sleep The fowl wanders hopeful And snakes wait for warmth All manner of life returns As the earth spins slowly again Strange sounds call startling To wake you to your self Vision not the end But this journey You walk this morn For your life has it's moments From dusk's sleeping To dusty dawn.
