Shall I look deeper or shall I ride the wave?

If it was I whom was served this blow In my country My heart would break My mind would beget thunderous revenge And I would wish to strike out in blind rage Claiming pride and right! But then as the toll of innonce deaths And shattered lives came to my realisation Would I weep with shame and guilt? At actions beneath a land of free people People lucky enough to choose their choices.. Would I then send out my thoughts Actions and love To clense the deeper evil? To heal those devestated souls Both those whom now know the loss and agony Of living in a third world country And those who live it Not those who seek war Glory and self gain But those innocence people whom weep everyday At the pain they live with LIVE WITH..... Every day The smoke has cleared The damage has been done Is there healing amongst all this? Or is the ANGER still intent upon wiping out Anyone whom threatens at all costs? What cost is it being number one? Does it take that terrible a statement To say somethings not right? As we bask in our glory Stay warm and safe With computers and beds and electricity And creature comforts And and and And and and And and and And and and And and and And And And And And Enough! May we all know peace May we all have the strength to give and protect and love Everyone regardless of the situation May God or Goddess come on down And help us so that one day I may stand with my brother and sister From all lands and say With pride We are the lands of the brave and free Because we have done this togetherOk...it's a little late in the day but still i needed to express this...i have always tried to respect all.....and still do... so love to all whom were affected that day....across the globe...everywhere Written April 3rd, 2002 © on Apr 02 2002 11:04 PM PST   18 • 0 • 9
