Soul Dance.
By FaeSinner
She smiled and looked at me Listen to your soul she said To the music residing there Think of all the times when you were lost Feel all the times when you have felt love She then took my hands and led me outside It was raining lightly And the sun was peaking through the clouds in the distance The trees around us seemed to be alive And I could hear faint strains of gypsy music floating on the wind She squeesed my hand briefly to remind me of our shared purpose And started to move an ancient step We danced together that day Listening to our souls and rejiocing in memories Celebrating our moment in time I have never danced like I did that day That day that I came alive Listening to the loving sweet sounds of our souls.
