Come my son with me tonight, it's time to share you a secret delight. Walk down this track with me, my friend, it's just a wee while around the bend. A little way behind the tor, nestled on the bottom of the valley's floor. Tis a place to be revealed, an enchantment your senses will feel. Just a little farther and your eyes will see, the magical and wonderful gathering of the sidhe. With them flies the fairy host, but i warn you to your friends you must not boast! They can only be seen but once a year and be envivaged by those who don't fear. come let's see this enchanting celebration, see another world's nation. Flickering, floating and dancing here and there, laughing and giggling without our world's cares. The fairy's do sing their sweet voices high, delicate and lovley but if seen, they are shy. Hide away, dissapear, as fast as they can! All merryment fades as they vanish to their lands. Be very careful now and don't make a sound, we shall sit here quietly least we be found. Look over there, see those shinning lights? It seems as the clans have graced us tonight. See how they glow as if from within? This is how can tell the difference from kith and kin. Some glow with the cool brightness of a star, others are warm their luminence not going far. Each colour you see represents a family, living so free and happily. Gold brings warmth and thoughs of compassion. Silver is cool and shows us wisdom after a fashion. There are reds and oranges and yellows too. Greens, violets, puples and blue! Each faery brings to us it's own special gift, far to many for us this night to sift. Wonder and enchantment this night we have seen it's as if I am in a most mystical dream! Look there the sunrise is starting to break, watch as the fairy host to their lands take. Slowly they begin to fade to our eyes, dissapearing with the lightening of the sky. But as we turned sadly to go, towards us comes a beautiful glow. Sounding together an awestruck sigh, A fairy comes it seems to say it's good bye. Thank you she said for being here tonight, we love to share our with others our joyful delight. Come again next year when the worlds meet again, perhaps you'll join us and be friends? Yes! yes! we happily agreed. With friendship between us we plant this seed. So that morning and ever after, we meet once a year with the fairies for secret games and laughter.
