Drought
By FallinTears
The rain begins to dampen, The dry and barren land. Finally it falls, Into the palm of my hand. The poor little saplings, Once a numerous amount, Are so very scarce now, It would not be fair to count. The riverbeds are caked and dry, The wells no longer provide. Finally the heat, Has chosen now to subside. What we have endured, Scattering the animals about. Is the dangerous plight, Of the rainless Drought.NaTuRe!!
