Graduation

I look back on the day, When we said our good-byes. And I will always say, That I’m glad I cried. I remember when we looked at each other’s faces, And cried because the other was crying. Leaving behind three years of security, Leaving you, to go on to a place unknown… I never wanted to leave, I wanted to be there to the end. And now I’m glad to say, I love you like a best friend. I look back on the day, When we said our good-byes. And I will always say. That I’m glad I cried. I’m not leaving you forever, Just to a different place. It was so, so sad. To see the tears fall down your face. You will know how it feels, When your time comes to an end. And I hope you’ll be glad to say, You love me like a best friend. And just the thought of, You not being there in the morning. It makes me sad to think, I will have to wait to share my thoughts. I need a friend so much like you. I want you to be near me, I want to feel loved. And make you feel loved. Never change, Because I will always remember you.
