I can see it in your eyes When I call your name… a little sparkle shines in them Yet you do not smile But you do not scowl You say nothing And I call you again Your ear twitches this time And I know you can hear me Why won’t you answer? Taking one step towards you… only one You look at me, and I am lost in the whirlpools of your eyes And all at once… I am back to reality And you aren’t looking at me You're staring off in space… on the other side of the room How did you get there? Why won’t you talk to me? Your name rolls questionably off my lips Silence Tears slide from my eyes… down my cheeks Please?
