In your eyes I can see it The love I know is there Not the “I want to be with you kind” The love of true care You’ve been my best friend For as long as I can remember Even if you didn’t Got to school with me in September But I just want to tell you That I missed you all those days That I was learning by myself Thinking about your ways The way you say hello to me The way you smile bright The way you hold me in your arms And say everything’s alright I always hope that you care About me as much as I you And sometimes I stop and smile At all the things you do You make me so happy Please don’t ever leave You’ve been true to me all along Now please don’t deceive Right now I know not what your thinking And ask not I won’t till you tell These tears that stain my dirty cheeks In those eyes that never fell You’ve always been there for me You’ve never let me down You always made me happy And lifted up my frown Written February 19th, 2002 © on Feb 19 2002 10:09 AM PST 18 • 0 • 10
