I hadn’t known you for very long, A friend of ours introduced us. I could tell there was something special, Little did I know what it would turn out to be. You were such a happy person, Nice to everyone and everything. And then I had some problems, And you were there for me. You took me aside, And you just let me cry. You listened and paid attention, And that is the best feeling in the world. You figured me out, When I was so confused. I didn’t know where to go, What to do who to tell. You made me see the light, You made my life brighten. Gosh, I don’t know how you do it, You are amazing…yes you are. And now is my time to thank you, For loving me so much. And taking away time from everyone else, To help me when I was down. I don’t know any better way to say this, Or thank you for helping me.
