~WEATHER~

By FallinTears

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Precipitation, evaporation, condensation too Dark heavy clouds, bright sunshine, or skies of light pale blue First comes rain then sleet then snow When the hail falls down it’s time to go Conduction convection and last there’s radiation The sun heats up the world, our whole entire nation Flying out in the atmosphere, Is all the pollution we give off here Thunderstorms with forks of lightning Create tornadoes, which are very frightening Over sea they’re called water spots High-speed winds throw you all about Hurricanes threaten the coast Walls of water 30 feet at the most You think you’re safe when you’re in the eye If I were you I’d run and hide Blizzards might be an amazing sight But sometimes then can be such a fright Trapped in by snow which turns to ice Let me tell you… that’s not very nice Here we have the killer of them all A raging flood makes buildings fall You can drown, I hope you can swim But I doubt that you will win Cyclones, and the Anti version Falling of the gulf of Persian You must be quick we come without warning Lots will be lost in the morning Monsoons and storm surges also We’re not dangerous that’s a big false-o! You never know what we might do I’d be careful if I were you First there’s cumulus then cirrus then stratus They’re all so confusing, a big apparatus All I know is they blanket the skies A beautiful view when I look with my eyes Warm fronts and cold fronts there are symbols for each Make sure you check ‘fore you go to the beach Occluded Stationary and two other kinds But we must keep moving, or we’ll fall behind Climate zones are different wherever you go Make sure to check that good weather show You don’t want to be too hot or too cold Knowing the weather never gets old You’ve heard the tale, the whole big story Hurry up don’t wait to shine in your glory It’s all in your brain, light as a feather Turn on your TV and watch the weather!!We had to write a poem on weather for school. Some of it is stupid and makes like no sense. But hey I think it's okay! Think my b***h of a teacher will like it? Written December 14th, 2001 © on Dec 14 2001 02:47 PM PST   0 • 14
