displeasing echoes hitting one wall and continuing to the next to much work im tired not enough time another assignment all i do is work now sitting there left in wonder the echoes unheard of how working in the fields is back breaking labor of how being free is back breaking labor of how a better life is back breaking labor of how supporting a family is back breaking labor not enough echoes of thanks i thank my ancestors all those who came before me all those who gave me their sweat their blood i thank those who gave me the opportunity to do this “hard work” i thank those who stood up those who made my future those who gave me the right to do this “hard work” without those who came before us without their standing up without their sweat without their blood without their back breaking labor we would be left in the fields thank you for the “hard work” you gave mebefore you complain about the hard work in school or long hours at work, think to yourself, it is a freedom to that hard work and be able to work those long hours. your ancestors are to thank.
