Dance of Man and Nature
By Fife4
There is a music in the wind, A beat in the earth as it turns. The rhythm to the water and the fire as it burns. We, as humans, ignore The symphony of mother earth All the time confined to the illness of our birth. We were made to move Faster than the wind can blow. And thus our two worlds Can never live in quid pro quo. The world spins one way And we want it to change direction, Oblivious to the fact, We live in a harmonious connection. So, as the wind whispers And the fire burns in dance, We will yearn to hear the music If we only had the chance. Written February 13th, 2002 © on Mar 16 2002 07:59 AM PST 0 • 12
