I see my life in a dream I wake up and start to scream Nothing short of a miracle I'm still alive and cynical There's no escape from lifes nightmare Wake up from it and I'm still there No ones around to hear my scream So I fall back into the same dream The monster inside, chasing my with its eyes The monster I am, chasing me again I take a breath and feel the cold air I open my eyes, and look into the mirror Th reflection that stares back at me is my own Far off in the distance I hear a moan No ones there to help me over So I return to my fitful slumber I see my life in a dream I wake up and start to scream Nothing short of a miracle I'm still alive and cynical My eyes open and I see the beast My eyes open and I realize it's meI think i wrote this for a friend, but it might be me, i dunno.
