I drive aimlessly around and god don.t make a sound   when I ask if he wants to meet me today I would feel so relieved if I could only believe   he.s simply listening to hard to respond when I pray But I wonder why I am assumed as so wise   to understand without being told So I go on assuming everyone.s god is a human   the ugly ones who control other.s movements My usual pleas   are soothed only by rain I love it.s empathy   it.s spreading of pain And to me it seems fitting that the dead are spitting   on their gods below Written January 10th, 2002 © on Jan 09 2002 05:24 PM PST   0 • 1
