No chance for goodbye
By Fry
No chance for goodbye It happened so fast An innocent life taken by death's grasp A stop of a heart A gasp for air A fall to the ground Why's life so unfair? A tender young age Of ten years old He lay there so still On the ground so cold No birthday for me No candles to blow Just sadness and pain Regret and sorrow I cannot remove The images in my head Of my precious little brother Lying there, dead I saw his pale body And his lips so blue And I knew right then That his life was through A piece of my heart Gone with the wind And I know That I will always love him Written February 28th, 2002 © on Feb 28 2002 12:13 PM PST 18 • 0 • 1
