song = bass like battle

Yes, I'm starting to know her it's just like the hot water she'll never have her fill of power always adjusting and craving hotter she's only happy in the shower the dictator's only daughter she's seeking only satiation satisfactions far beyond her grip unaware, I've got lacerations strings like razors on my lips she's gone so far past my patience all snide smiles and nasty quips CHORUS: pound in my ears your bass like battle crash in fevers a voice like gravel grating and grating on my addictions baiting and baiting my aggressions but I'm not listening to you anymore our song is over our song is over I'm reaching out with this shaky hand when a crash of cymbals brings me down with all my strength I try to stand but every drumbeat shakes the ground she won't lay off that baby grand and that mountain-shaking sound I see the gap between us widening - where's the friendly treble clef in this orchaestral war she's waging? I get the feeling I'm going deaf is that thunder or is she singing? and how come I'm the one out. of. breath? CHORUS Written October 26th, 2001 © on Oct 26 2001 01:41 AM PST   20 • 0 • 10
