The righteous wave

By Geneva

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

After hurricanes they bowl you a mouth full of sand. You can't stand, but these are righteous. So he said. "Them waves is righteous." :tubular, diagonal, with crests that spar at right angles, torso to thigh. "Now them's wicked!" All toes on board, hang ten's the call beneath the sun. Burning on shore we watch them fall where righteous and wicked are one. Written January 18th, 2002 © on Jan 18 2002 05:19 AM PST   0 • 12
