Rainbow of our love
By Grannyrosie
RAINBOW OF OUR LOVE Reminiscing, contemplating, how did this all start? Threads of thought intertwined with memories of you. Grasping every wisp, of each shared and cherished moment, The cloth that we have woven, never to undo. Many scatterings of blue in there, cloudless shiny days, Black lines, misunderstandings, somewhere in the maze. Bright reds, ring out the love, held within each heart, Golden bands to signify that we will never part. Green shows a little jealous streak I need to overcome, Yellow the fear we found walking this path. Greys of every hue speckled, decisions we must make, The purple of our passion declares this love is no mistake. The browns of apprehension mute softly to cream bliss, Lavender scattered all around, representing each sweet kiss. Indigo splattered with rhinestones, each breathless starry night, Pinks of each new dawn, as we rejoice in mutual delight. The white, so predominant, is the purity of this love, Resplendent in blessings, it would seem from GOD above. Splashes of orange for warmth, this feeling that we share, Rainbow of our love, cascading, shining everywhere. Written December 13th, 2001 © on Dec 12 2001 07:29 PM PST, Patricia Rosenberg 0 • 8
