New Era

By grumpy3445

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

The Era of Romance is now when the darkness seems to overwhelm us and is held in check by the sacrifices of a few when people cling to each other and are more concerned about their children then their own selfish desires when those who give their lives inspire others to serve when people are willing to follow their hearts and take risks, they, in the past, only dare when Love is held in higher regard than wealth, power, or position when the families of our enemies are not left to starve when there are things worth risking more important than our lives when men and women share their love and not for their own hedonism so thank you Lord, for giving me trials because the darkness ushers in the Light Written December 31st, 2001 © on Feb 23 2002 02:28 PM PST   0 • 9
