Panic of Dying in Beauty **CHALLENGE**
By Guinevere3
As the sun began to rise . After a night of expectations on high... Blood from the necks of virgins... Blood from the souls of virgins... Involuntaryly my walk provoked In trances In trances In traces... To my chamber of slumber. The footprints I knew well should have Taken me to daytime slumbering... For the day's Light would surly kill me. But something from my night dreams... Something from those ghastly dreams Forced my trace-stares to take a back seat, Now I was following what seemed to be the Brightest of angels , was it a new woman... I fled for her golden hair, looking back where my chamber awaited me, wanted me To slumber in just his arm... My pale skin began to burn a bit, I knew that time was not on our side. But this journey took hold of my heart nonetheless... I ran after her, though she seemed So far from me now What do I do, I can not turn back and face the light I must reach her soon, before I die In her very own Light That is when I realized, my death would come soon, My death by following fragile heartstrings Moving me from what had been taught, what I had fought against For so long... This nightmare of sun shining high in the sky this nightmare is mine, the sun so very bright now... And the burning... The burning... The burning... and the heart never there laughing at me... Burning... I went to the piles of green flowing grass Burining...I had not known of beauty kept only for day in so long... Oh the burning... In between the pains and the burning The screams to nowhere that no one can hear... I enjoyed For one brief moment all I had forgotten before... Slumber of day and fight in night, I forgot the beauty I am now dying with ease in... A blessing for a vampire like me! who knew of only ugliness death and shame, now I die with all Nature has for me. Do I wish to go back.............NO Something from my night dreams before Forced my trace-stares to take a back seat, Following what seemed to be the Brightest of angels , was it a new woman...
