My Canyon
By h2whoa
I thought I was alone here, This canyon is mine, I've felt you before I've seen you, Heard you creeping from behind. My heart beats so hard, The sound bounces off the rocks, I know that it's not your fault, But this canyon is mine. I heard a vulture overhead, But I was blinded when I looked, The creatures know change has come, They sense battle's commence. You reach out your hand of icicles, Bury the points in my eyes. The vulture screams with anticipation, As you transform my thoughts to yours. Written November 29th, 2001 © on Nov 28 2001 10:29 PM PST 18 • 0 • 1
