Future
By Hanger
As I look into the future, This is what I see: You and I standing there, As it is meant to be. The softness of your fingers, As they slowly intertwine, Our hands clasped together, Yours within mine. I see you smiling happily, As I gaze into your eyes. We're walking on the beach, Under star filed skies. I take you out to diner, Where we wine and dine, Then we go dancing, With your heart near mine. When our eyes caress, My heart races all the while. You know what happens next, I just can't control that smile. What I love the best, Are the little things you do. You never raise your voice, That simply isn't you. I will always be here for you, Forever your own clown. Never in my life, Will I make you frown. Still we're here in the present, So I'll sit back in the wing. Paitiently waiting, For you to make my heart sing. Written October 23rd, 2001 © on Oct 23 2001 02:26 PM PST 0 • 8
