A Work in Progress
By heinzs
Thirty years of wedded bliss? No, not quite so. Thirty years of partnership through life's tribulations... fortune and misfortune, joy and pain. Births and deaths, happiness and grief alike, shared by two souls in this journey of life, together. Our marriage is a work in progress, ever changing texture. Sometimes comfortable, sometimes harsh. Just a slice of life and just as real. Surviving only through committment and effort and stubborn determination to make it work! Held together by bonds of love, steel-strong, yet resilient, able to stretch as needed without breaking asunder. Strength derived from mutual will determined to survive together. One moment, one hour, one day... and then another, and so on. Learning to accept each life experience as another new adventure. Reveling in the joys and successes and rolling with the punches. And thirty years from now we will look back once again, then go forward as before to thirty years more. 4.15.2001 Written April 15th, 2001 © on Oct 26 2001 05:24 AM PST, Heinz Scheuenstuhl 18 • 0 • 10
