Diminishing and Increasing (2) (increasing 2) Once more time stalls. It seems that nothing else is ever really real. Agonizing pain's emotional toll reduces the soul - a whimpering mass. Can it be the gospel truth or is it our delusion? What we think reality, is really an illusion. (decreasing 2) Desperately, what we choose in that moment of desire, in love's grasp - irrational - must last us through a lifetime. Not knowing the "why", yet doing the "what" - blissful ignorance faults passion's motives. Life and love heed the call - both must rise lest we fall! No man stays free! 2/14-22/2002Second part in this experiment... diminish or increase each stanza by 2 syllables per line.
