Jennedin's Tears
By heinzs
Jennedin's Tears The silent ones without voices Suffer pain unspeakable, yet bear it Tears long since dried up they cry And lo, their attention shifts For one has found her voice In sparkling, devastating clarity Speaks reams from her hopelessness And we, new to her world once hidden Shed the tears she no longer can For though from our eyes they fall Each one began in her heart And fed from her pain So that at long last, in unified consolation Her words shall bear fruit And her ravaged soul may begin to heal Knowing she is not alone in this world 12/18/2001This is a poem I wrote especially for jennedin in response to her piece "Opening Johari's Window". It is her poem and appears here only because she so requested it. I cannot give her any of the stars you might be moved to place here, so please give them instead to some other more worthy poet.
