Meet the Acolapissa Tribe (survivor challenge #12)
By heinzs
Meet the Acolapissa Tribe (survivor challenge #12) Should I write an ode to a butterfly as I watch it gently flutter by, or a poem to a small lizard, who, himself, is quite a poetic wizard? I'll pen a rhyming villanelle to the 'lil one I know so well, or an epic, long and wise to please the one with angel eyes. Should veelejot be the only one to be there when the sonnet's done, or should I keep the thoughts inside and with the spondees ever hide? I'll fling a couplet at therpsichore, the goddess rescue from death's door, and a quatrain to mothers' love for fair slekky, what a dove! My tetractys is alive, not dead inside, come with me on life's great ride - forever I'll create the sly verses from the crawling fly. 4/10/2002Rules: Ond rhyming couplet for each team member, each couplet to make some poetic reference. Team members in couplet order: shicho gecko nell angeleyes veelejot hide deathgoddess slekky deadinside heinzs Written April 10th, 2002 © on Apr 10 2002 03:51 AM PST, Heinz Scheuenstuhl 0 • 10
