Misery Anguish the heart forlorn, grieve the love forsaken, so it has always been the bittersweet plight of man. Seek that moment of rapture where pleasure's bounds unwrap, while joy and pain together strike the harmonic chords of the soul Love is, and has always been, the sweet meat of literature ~ tales told and retold time and again. Tristan and Isolde, Romeo and Juliet ~ Love's tragedies abound across cultures. Diverse societies share the tale of the star-crossed lovers' travail and ultimate untimely doom.
