Original Thought Each life discovers the world anew Building a unique experience bank From the empty vault at birth To full richness by last bell. Yet each must meet and overcome Similar daily obstacles - Life's inimitable lessons As well as routine survival needs. Every action, every conceptual thought Has been tried and processed By multiple human intellects Over man's earthly manifestation. "There's nothing new under the sun." A truism if ever there was one - So how to define that uniqueness - That individual originality? Though all words have been spoken Once, twice - a dozen times or more - It is the juxtaposition of ideas, The combinations that become singular.
