Plane Shift (survivor challenge #15)
By heinzs
Plane Shift The world divides itself twixt light and dark - equal, yet separate realities. Only in our dreams does the boundary between the planes weaken sufficiently for contact. Yggdrasil, the tree of life, rests its ancient roots between the sea of sorrows and the sea of dreams - its branches shading both worlds in its protective aura. Legend has it that beneath the tree's bole may be found the true grail - that holy cup used by the ancients and lost from human sight at the time of Christ. Whosoever drinketh from the cup shall experience eternal life. Thus the legend says, yet is this indeed a truth or simply another metaphor to be discovered and unraveled? The dreamer visits this place where planes shift and truth blends with fantasy. He drinks from the grail and finds immortality in the words put to paper. This is the realm of the poet, the philosopher, the lunatic, and the saint. This locus transcends the physical and the spiritual. We have the power to set aside strife and turmoil and take our drink from the grail. Come, visit this beauteous world. Join me and the poets and become one with the dreamer. 4/13/2002 Written April 13th, 2002 © on Apr 13 2002 02:59 PM PST, Heinz Scheuenstuhl 0 • 10
