Poplars in the Fall
By heinzs
Steadfast rows of tall pillars clothed in green finery daubed with rainbow hues reach majestically into the grey autumn sky. Attired in fall splendor to celebrate season's change they bide their time and slowly carpet the ground at their feet in lush gold. Soon enough bare branches will wait for verdant spring, but for now, festooned in glory, the poplars stand guard and wait for the next rain. 11-14-2001 Written November 14th, 2001 © on Nov 14 2001 02:38 AM PST, Heinz Scheuenstuhl 0 • 10
