Precious

Precious What is most precious? Is there a gauge by which we can measure? Life seems to be at the top of the list, but how do we rank the rest? Love - it may be but a four-letter word, yet it encompasses all existence. Happiness - even our forefathers, in their wisdom, knew this could only be pursued. A child's innocence - once taken returns no more - it must be cherished and protected. Personal freedom - in no nation on Earth but America is this so dearly held sacred. The artist's senses - each field with unique demands - staggering against handicap. Time - perhaps the most precious commodity without which the others also fail. Of all we hold dear, cherish and value, above all else hold sacred your personal integrity. begun 1/21/2002I'm not sure this is complete or if it needs addition/reformatting. Input would be helpful.
